Hi Folks

Firstly, oh what a good time at Alan Thomson's big 50, in Glasgow, great to meet up again with so many old friends, Juha and Sammi from Finland, the Odder gang, and all The Wheel guys, Rev Doc from Ireland, Frank O'Hagen, Jim Drummond, and Ted McKenna, Jacko, Suzi, and all the Thomson clan, what a party!!

Many thanks to all those folks who turned out for the duo gigs in the UK. Jerry and I had a blast, and really enjoyed our first proper duo tour in the UK. Loads of folks to thank for the success, Peter Barton, Tony Weekes, and Gordon Wride for organising most of the gigs, Pam and Alan at Dartford for a very special night, also thanks to Hunter Muskett for stepping up at Dartford when my voice decided to disappear. Also a big thanks to Ray Jackson, who came along to the Stoke Row gig, (beautiful pub and restaurant, and thanks for the great hospitality, Paul), and although Ray was expecting to play a couple of numbers, he ended up playing nearly the whole set, and was magnificent. We certainly will be "trioing" again very soon! Watch this space. Also to all the gang in Wales that made our stay there a special one, Claire, Steven, and Grev in Caerleon, David in Llandeilo, and to Ralph at the Blues on  the Farm Festval, Chichester.

As forecast, the Hunter Muskett gig in Clitheroe, The Aspinall Arms, was a gas, loads of folks, great hospitality, and we just about remembered everything, it was one of the most enjoyable gigs I have done in years. Suffice to say, work is already in progress for a tour in November, keep your eyes on this space, we hope to cover the territory, and find central points for folks to get there. Already booked is The Aspinall Arms. Mitton, on 11th Nov., Zeffirelli's in Ambleside, Cumbria, on 12th Nov. The Railway, Greenfield, on 14th Nov,(afternoon concert),  Bacup Folk Club, on 15th Nov, Sleaford, Lincs, 18th Nov. Maldon Essex, 19th Nov. More details will be added asap.

Hot off the press is after Gathering announcing no more gigs in 2010, we are pleased to announce that we are playing at the Great British Folk Festival, Skegness, which runs over 3/4/5th December. There is a fantastic bill with some of the greatest names in folk rock history, including Donovan, The Strawbs, Pentangle, Richard Digance, Kate Rusby, The Dylan Project, and even Hunter Muskett!!
